WELCOME TO PEAK

Thank you for letting me join the PEAK program. I love the acting class because I never acted before and now I can and I love it! My favorite play is Macbeth where I get to play the King. I also love the Fri-Yay social group because I get to meet new people and do some fun things like talk and play games. I am happy that we get to meet in person now. We made birdhouses and that was 

a lot of fun.

Thank you so much to all those involved in PEAK. My son has thrived in the programs. He is in the Fri-Yay and Drama programs. They help him with social skills like listening, taking turns, and expressing himself. He loves the interaction with the other participants both virtual and now in-person. The program facilitators are great and care so much about the participants. My son can’t wait for the programs to roll 

around each week!

I just want to thank you all for welcoming H. She was apprehensive about going but had so much fun. She told me that she felt like everyone took the time to understand her speech and that made her very happy. This is saying a lot considering she’s spent 2 years in the same school with much less success in that department! She told me she found “her people”.  We are very happy and she will definitely be back.

My son … prefers to attend in-person activities so he can interact and observe the other participants rather than virtually. He enjoys playing games including UNO, the early sessions making sock puppets for a Drama performance, and being a supporting cast member of the PEAK PERFORMANCE Troupe in previous sessions. The variety of activities and the wonderful support of the organizers keep him wanting to return each month. We are very grateful for the work, time, and efforts of C and his team who put on these wonderful activities.

Our daughter absolutely enjoys the events that she has been to through PEAK. It was especially helpful during Covid restrictions. Now that things are opening up again she especially looks forward to the in-person social events. She is definitely a people person and has made some good friends. Can’t thank you enough for all you do and the opportunities you provide.

Just wanted to say how happy I was to hear my son did a great job on the virtual the other night. I wanted to thank you for understanding his anxiety and continuing to work through it. It’s not often you find someone who totally “gets it” but you do. I was floored that you understand allergies can cause behaviors. School staff look at me like I have three heads when I try to explain it. Your program is amazing and the way you communicate after each session on the details of how it went is priceless. I love your programs and I look forward to having my son attend many more sessions with you!
